Asante Gold Corporation
We are a gold exploration and development company with a high-quality portfolio of projects in Ghana, Africa’s largest and safest gold producer. Asante is focused on developing high-margin gold projects including the Bibiani and Kubi Gold development projects located on the prolific Bibiani and Ashanti Gold Belts. Asante has also made a strategic investment in Roscan Gold Corporation.
We have announced plans to co-list our shares on the Ghana Stock Exchange – to allow a whole new group of Ghanaian investors the opportunity to invest in the growth of their own local gold mining industry.
Our experienced team members are our most precious asset, having discovered, explored and developed more than 24Moz of gold resources and reserves in Ghana; and having managed Ghana’s largest underground mine.

Our current objective is to bring the Bibiani Gold Mine back to production by 3rd Qtr 2022, at circa 200koz per year.
Current NI 43-101 Gold Mineral Resource: Measured and Indicated 20.1 million tonnes at 2.71 grams of gold per tonne for 1.81 Moz of gold, plus Inferred 8.41 million tonnes at 2.78 grams of gold per tonne for 0.75 Moz.
Asante has recognized additional exploration upside opportunities, both from near surface and underground targets.
Bibiani is a sleeping giant – essentially unmined and on care and maintenance since Ashanti Goldfields exited the project in 2006 when gold was just US$650 per oz. Our investment strategy is to achieve near-term economic returns on this very long-life asset of high national importance.
At Asante Gold Corporation, we are determined to create a better world and benefit the local population. Where possible, we will use new ‘industry disruptive’ green technology and methods to lower our mining impact and improve total economic returns.
We plan to power our future underground Kubi Gold Mine , located just south of the World Class AngloGold Ashanti Obuasi gold mine, with a 4Mw solar production and storage plant.
Our focus is to put our high-grade Kubi Gold Mine back into production at circa 45Koz per year using conventional underground narrow mining by decline access, with the potential to double that using industry proven surface to -150m mining technology, and all ultimately powered by solar energy and on-site storage.
We are continuing to study the application of this exceptional equipment for near term testing and application at Kubi.
Exploration is the life blood of the mining industry, and we have a farm of exciting exploration projects in Ghana.
Each has had significant initial drill discoveries and all require follow-up geophysical surveys and extensive drilling. Our target is for multi-million-ounce discoveries:
– Keyhole Option: targeting multi-million ounce Obuasi type mineralization;
– Betenase Option: targeting high tonnage primary and secondary gold mineralization in Tarkwaiian sediments; and
– Fahiakoba: targeting north east extensions of Perseus Edikan Mine structures for bulk mineable mineralization.
(Projects are subject to final closing and Governmental Approvals)
Asante also has options on an additional eight concessions which are subject to final closing, additional third party, governmental transfers and approvals:
– Two concessions adjoining Kubi
– And six along strike to the southwest of the Galiano Gold/Goldfields Obotan Mine holdings.
